Kabul (BNA) Acting Minister of Education Noorullah Munir meet with Turkish Ambassador to Kabul to discuss Turkey’s co-operation in the field of education.
According to BNA, the two sides discussed the reopening of Afghan-Turkish schools in Afghanistan, the strengthening of education system, provision of scholarships, provision of quality educational services to students in remote areas of the country, and other administrative matters in the field of education.
The Turkish Ambassador assured the continuation of the country’s cooperation with Afghanistan in the field of education and also expressed hope that he would see the strengthening of the education process in Afghanistan.
He also promised to cooperate in the construction of schools in remote areas of the country.
The Acting Minister of Education thanked Turkey for its patriotic cooperation in the field of education in Afghanistan and considered the role of education important in the country’s development.
He added, public access to quality, standard and fair education services is the main goal of the Ministry of Education, and Turkey can cooperate with the Ministry of Education in this regard, as well as providing scholarships for Afghan students.
